Our Story
The Care Kitchen CIC was born out of a genuine desire to make a difference. We saw first-hand the growing issue of food insecurity in our communities and knew that something had to be done.
What started as a small initiative to provide meals to those in need has grown into a dedicated community kitchen, serving affordable, wholesome food to individuals and families across the region. We are proud to be a Community Interest Company, reinvesting in the people and places we serve.
Our journey is still just beginning. With the support of our partners, volunteers, and community, we are working to expand our reach and ensure that no one in Merseyside and Cheshire goes without a proper meal.
Who We Support
Our meals and services are available to anyone in need. We work particularly closely with the following groups:
- Elderly individuals living alone
- Vulnerable adults and those with disabilities
- Low-income families and individuals
- People referred by councils, housing associations, and GPs
- Anyone in our community experiencing food insecurity
